SP25 Clinical Credentialing - April CPR

American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course for Healthcare Professionals

All nursing students are required to maintain up to date CPR certification through the American Heart Association ("AHA") Basic Life Support ("BLS") Course for Healthcare Professionals. Red Cross and other CPR certifications do not satisfy this clinical requirement.

The School of Nursing has arranged for McNeilly, EMS to teach the AHA BLS course on twelve (12) dates in April. The classes will be held at the School of Nursing from 6:00pm - 8:00pm in Rooms 241, 242 and 243. To be certified, you will need to sign up and attend on one of the dates listed below.

The cost is discounted for Endicott nursing students to $60 for the course and $22.50 for the ebook (the book is required for the course, but you do not need to buy it if you already have it). If purchased, a link to download the ebook will be emailed to you from McNeilly, EMS prior to the date of the course.

Within 2- 3 days after completing the course, you will receive an email at the address you use to register for the class from ecards@heart.org with your retrieval code and instructions on claiming your CPR certificate. If you do not receive the email, you may want to check your spam folder and/or access the instructions here: CPR Claim Card. Your Certification will be valid for two (2) years.
