About The Course 

This self-paced orientation has been created as a resource for you to learn about Canvas as you prepare to build your Canvas courses. The course content is organized into six modules and provides a variety of resources and activities. 

  • Modules 1-3 are designed to give you a student's experience of taking a short online course. You will read and watch course materials and complete four graded activities. Please complete Modules 1-3 before attending the Introduction to Canvas workshop.  
  • Modules 4-6 are designed to provide additional resources to support your personal learning of the tools, features and best practices as you build your course.   
    • Note: You will need to be enrolled in the course to complete the assignments.  If you aren't enrolled, you please click the Join This Course button located on top, right side of screen and complete the User Name and Password prompts.
