This is essentially the draft of your final demo recording. It doesn't have to be overly polished, but you should try things out here so you know what will work well for your final demo video.
To record your screen, use one of the following or another application of your choosing:
- OBS Links to an external site. (cross platform)
- ShareX Links to an external site. (Windows)
- QuickTime (macOS)
The opening of your demo should include a title with your name, year ("Spring 2020" is fine), and the name of your project. Include overlays where appropriate (e.g., when demoing major features. Here's a list of some software you can use for editing your recordings Links to an external site..
Do not send me a video you recorded with your phone unless you are showing a hardware set up (something where a screen recording wouldn't suffice). If you fall into that camp, please use a tripod or some kind of post-production stabilization feature to remove shaking.
Upload your video to your Endicott YouTube account. Make your videos either public or only available with a link; submit that link.
