Homework: Agile + Scrum

Read all of the following:

• Ch. 5.1–5.3 Links to an external site. of "Essentials of Software Engineering" (Tsui, Karam, & Bernal; 3rd Edition).
• "Manifesto for Agile Software Development Links to an external site." (both the short list of 4 values on the main page as well as the 12 principles Links to an external site.)
• "Scrum is fragile, not agile Links to an external site." (Dennis Weyland, 2019)
  
  

Write a few paragraphs reflecting on Agile software development methodologies (SDMs). Specifically, address these questions:

• which of the covered SDMs, or components of them, have you used in past projects (in school, on your own, or at a job), if any?
• if you were to start a project right now, would you use a traditional SDM or an Agile one? why?
• which Agile principle appeals most to you? least? explain.

You can use whatever you want to write your reflection (Google Docs, Word, a text editor), but please make sure you include your name, date, and the assignment name at the top. Labeling and dating your work a good habit to get into!
