Course Syllabus
WELCOME TO THE COURSE! This class will reinforce and further the topics studied in Drawing and Composition I with an addition of color and mixed-media, exploration of papers, and mediums. Along with subject-based topics we will approach mark-making and conceptual elements within the frames of a contemporary drawing discourse. Students will work with still life, figure, portraiture, landscape, and interior, with an opportunity to discover a unique artistic voice through personal experimentation and conceptualization. Reading, writing, critiques and enriching dialog with fellow students will support the learning and creative process.
