Use the Week3 Homework spreadsheet in doing this homework. (Found in Week 3 module.)
Each student has different data/stats to use, so see your initials toward the bottom of the spreadsheet. So for example, Ian will use the data/stats for Dataset 1.
The statistics you need are: average (mean), max, min, and standard deviation.
Select three family members and/or friends for this homework, but find three where their ages are between the max and min for your dataset.
For each of the three, use the norm.dist function to compute the cumulative probability distribution for each, answering the question: What is the probability that a runner, selected at random, will be younger that your family member or friend?
The data to input into the norm.dist function is thus:
X (age of friend), mean, standard deviation, and 1 (to choose cumulative probability).
Submit your work as an Excel file.
